“Death is not an option.”
Whoa.
lol. I find it funny at first that he’d say that. I know final assessment is important and all, but he makes it sound like it is a severe and solemn life and death occasion.
But fear has a weird way of creeping in. Yesterday I woke up in the middle of the night and had a panic attack. I seriously thought I’d mistaken the date for my assessment to be the next morning. In fact it was 2 mornings away. Bring it on! Let’s be done with it.

1. If I want to get rid of a negative behavior, it has to be replaced with a positive behavior, and not a null.
I can’t just expect to stop doing something by doing nothing to replace that behavior. Say, I want to watch less TV, I have to replace that with something else that I want to do more of, like running for example. Which means each time I feel like watching TV, I’d go for a run instead. I know you’re thinking “DUHHH!..isn’t this obvious already?” But I know that many people fail to stop doing something they don’t want to do because they don’t think of something else to do. Hence, all the time they’re focusing on NOT doing something instead of focusing on the actual thing that they want to do.
